Equipped with the most Irish sounding name since Pádraig and a discography of old school influenced house weaponry, Sound Out are on to a winning formula.
A duo from Kilkenny, Ireland, consisting of Shane & Toby, Shane has been producing for about 7 years now and Toby plays in a local blues/rock band (Deep Down Detox).
Both lifelong DJs and musicians, they started producing together at the beginning of 2016. And what a year its been, from their debut release on Dolphin Friendly Tunage, to their latest offerings on Form & Function.
The guys have a very distinctive sound, blending old school and rave synths, breaks and basslines with modern production techniques and solid house beats. This is not surprising considering they consider their biggest influences to be old rave tapes.
