SLEZZ ULTEEM8
Tebogo Leshotho aka Slezz UlteeM8 born 1987, in Welkom, South Africa is a bedroom producer and DJ that started with this passion at the age of 13, using computers and was booked all over at the local parties, he was well known for his megamixes. In 2004 he started taking things to another level where he was introduced to music production software called Image-Line Fruityloops. in 2005 he started producing his own tracks and gave them to numerous DJs for Promotions. He produced since 2005 till now.
In 2009 he started making mega mixes which he shared publicly with friends around the world; one of his mixes was featured on 5FM by one of the radio heads named Euphonik.
He is also part of a popular duo named Monocles & Slezz which has a lot under its belt.
The name Slezz UlteeM8 came around 2010 when he started doing solo remixes for popular artists, ever since that time, the name has never seen its ending. Apart from producing music and being a disc jockey, Slezz is also a co-founder and manager of an independent record label called Skalla Records which has built its reputation over the years.
Lately besides working as part of the duo, in 2017 he is planning solo releases with different artists around his hood, the likes of Kay Tyler, Phlyvocals and around Soweto in Johannesburg up and coming vocalists such as Naledi and Mandla who is a backup vocalist for big shots such as Nathi and Vusi Nova.
A recent solo release he worked on this year is called “I Am” of which he featured a songstress from Bramley called Kat-Lee, he will also be working on the remixes in this coming year to give the song different interpretations from selected remixers.
His latest solo EP named “G.A.O(The First Offering)” contains techy sounds which he intends to use as his signature, the EP will be a series of sounds he produces from time to time.
