David Pomareda who goes under his alias name TechNeekz was born in Lima, Peru and raised in Hollywood, FL. He began Djing in 2012 down in Miami where he quickly began making a name for himself. TechNeekz, is a South Floridian DJ/Producer and label owner of Dark Shades Records. He is inspired by House/Tech-House & Hiphop.
TechNeekz is well known for consistently raising the bar and pushing the limits between the House and Techno Community. Growing up he was very much into listening to both Hiphop in the 90's and House Music around 2009. When you see him perform he always finds a way to make these two genres come together and keep his crowd continually wanting to dance. His energy and his style brings the fun in being behind the decks and getting the party jumping with his underground House selections. He really knows how to make that ultimate connection with the dance floor from start to finish.
TechNeekz founded his record label, Dark Shades in Jan. of 2017 and has had his latest original mix titled “Groovy Girl”, which ranked on the Top 100 Deep House Charts on Traxsource. Prior to, he also released a smashing remix of My Way by Fetty Wap and in 2015 he released his 1st Original Mix titled “Hit the Club”. Since then he has build a community with his Party and Record Label Brand, Dark Shades. TechNeekz has shared the stage with some of the current hottest House and Tech-House Producers from Billy Kenny, Sage Armstrong, Will Clarke, Treasure Fingers, Kidnap Kid, Golf Clap, Shiba San, Worthy, Jesse Perez, Gene Farris, Gina Turner and many more.
