RICKY DOUBLES

With over 20 years of influence in the music, Ricky has spent countless hours challenging the limits of a DJ. Heavily influenced by the players that shaped the world of House Music, he studied the likes of Derrick Carter, Mark Farina, DJ Heather and Diz on all points that makes a dance floor move. Under the wings of pioneers, Roy Davis Jr. and the Godfather of Techno Soul, Eddie Fowlkes, Ricky was groomed on the what makes the journey of a DJ so special...a journey that expands throughout the spectrum of dance music. He recently joined forces with San Diego decknician, Matthew Brian in the studio and shortly after the adventures of Matt n Ricky was born. Their output has quickly drawn the ears of many supporters worldwide...releasing an EP for Mark Fariña. DJs at heart, they are excited to share what House Music means to them. Ricky has set forth on a mission to the musical world bringing on the talents of Indiana native Juwan Rates. In a short time with no rules, the duo has created a large catalog of music which includes an EP for Demuir and flips of some of the classic jams of our day. Soon there after, they ventured outside their comfort zone and created Dirty Rice…” Tech drive with a Chicago Sprinkle”. As a team, the three have been gaining support from the likes of Derrick Carter, DJ Heather, Hector Moralez, and Seth Troxler.
