JONJO JURY

Jonjo Jury, aka The Lovely Jonjo, has been DJing for nearly a decade, after starting out with legendary indie club Trash. Currently Jonjo is a resident DJ at PWP in Milan, with the internationally renowned Durrr. His own East London monthly, Hot Boy Dancing Spot, has a residency at London XOYO and has also hosted parties for Elmgreen & Dragset, and the Garage Centre of Contemporary Culture at the Venice Biennial. Jonjo Jury has supported Maximo Park on tour in China, playing clubs around the world in New York, Athens, Barcelona, Berlin, Sao Paulo, Tel-Aviv and Tokyo.

2013 has been a great year for Jonjo Jury. He's played a closing set for Kraftwerk sell out shows in London and at the Bloc 9 area at Glastonbury and Lovebox festivals. Another highlight was being asked to join Horse Meat Disco for their recent Day & Night party. Jonjo has just had his first remix for Is Tropical released on French label Kitsune and has more remixes and original tracks coming up soon.

Jonjo has also created catwalk music for London’s top fashion talent and is currently working with Holly Fulton, Fashion East and Chinese menswear designer Xander Xhou. Jonjo works as a Musical Consultant and has collaborated with brands including Acne, Topshop, Alexander McQueen, Candy, Dazed & Confused, Dolce & Gabbana, Jonathan Saunders, Mulberry, Selfridges, Tate Modern and Vice. Jonjo has also been profiled by the press featuring in i-D, Dazed & Confused, NME, Attitude, District MTV, Vogue Italia, GQ China, and New York’s East Village Boys. He has appeared on the cover of Butt Magazine.
