VINNIE MIKRA

Vinnie Mikra, coming from Vlaardingen, started at age 15 with turning vinyl. During a party,
he met Zico. They decided to work with each other and produce music together. At that moment everything
changed. Looking at what their sound is, they ran into some big clubs in Rotterdam, Vlaardingen and
area. But after a while Zico was very busy starting his own business. It costed him so much time and
energy, that they decided to choose their own path. Vinnie went solo as Vinnie Mikra.

Vinnie produces his own music.
After he finishes his parttime job, he works most of the time in his studio. To create or perfects
(his) new music.

As he likes to say ;
"I need to get out of that studio sometimes, but i always forget the time. Even the clock in the studio
is not working"

His goal is to eventually play his own music.
" what i play, is not only my own music. I buy and listen music from all over the place. Internet is
full of good music. And i like to go to music stores"
the combination of found music and own produced music is a good mix and creates a unique sound.

In his own words "I play mostly house and techno. Music thats sounds goods at the time and have
that "extra's"

He likes to adjust himself, and is not afraid to try new sounds. As long it's within his genre.
