DJ AUSPRE

DJ Auspre is a man of music, he lives and breathes music through every pore of his body. In his own words he describes music as being his “drug” that keeps him going, makes him high and happy. Dj Auspre officially started his musical career in 1984. In was not until at WSIA 88.9 FM radio station in Staten Island, NY in 1989 his career took off. Here he hosted a radio show from 1990 to 1996. While hosting his radio show he also hosted and VJed his own cable show on Staten Island Cable TV called “What’s Going On”. He lived the New York nightclub life as DJ and promoter. He DJed at Marrs, The World, Sound Factory Bar, Red Zone, Nell's, Octogon, Danceteria, Vertigo, The Building, Shelter, Speed, Club USA, Palladium, Tunnel, Limelight, Avalon, Hush, Discotech, Save The Robots and a hoist of others.

Dj Auspre is recognized as an innovator and force in New York City's music scene. His musical style fuses his influences not only from NYC, but also Chicago and Detroit, Berlin, Brazil, Nigeria, South Africa, Angola, Trinidad & Tobago and other Africian & Latin countries. Creating a unique sound and has worked with diverse artists from all over the world. With a career spanning more than 25 years, playing in club from some of the biggest cities in the world.

He is a constant globe-trotting, performing every he’s become equally famed for his DJ sets from as far as Iceland, Australia, and South Africa as well as countless jaunts through England, Europe and the U.S. Not always the lone crowd-controller, Auspre’s collaborated on stage alongside contemporary luminaries like Gilles Peterson, Osunlade, Q-Tip, Jazzy Jeff, Kenny Dope, DJ Scratch (EPMD), Rich Medina, Toddy Terry, Dj Spinna, Little Louie Vega, David Morales, Dj Rock, Funk Master flex, Dj Premier, and a host of other Djs . He’s a true showman - versatile as ever. Currently Dj Auspre Lives in Berlin, where he Dj and host events all over the world.
