ROB JAM WEB

Rob Webster has been consistently involved in the music industry since 1993. He has seen every genre and fad come and go and yet still remains involved in Dance Music. He is one of the main artists on the world famous "Editorial Records" "Masterworks Music and his very own label "Waxadisc" label and in 2014 he achieved a number one sales chart position with his huge Slo-Mo Disco track entitled "Bionic Love" under his "RobJamWeb" moniker. His style these days is classic Disco re-edits with a touch of Soulful House and Funk. He has been through all the eras of Dance Music but has always maintained his love for the funky side of House. He is capable of joining the dots between forgotten classics right on through to modern day House and Nu-Disco.

He has been around long enough to have had experience in every field within the Dance Music sector from International chart hits, Performing on Top of the Pops, to remixing for Pop groups and running several record labels. But most of all his talent for djing has took him all around the globe at some point over his 22 year career, and on many road trips in the UK since the mid 90s. To cut a very long story His most notable achievements are below.

1993-2002 Resident DJ at Progress in Derby working alongside Pete Tong, Jeremy Healy, Roger Sanchez, Carl Cox, Judge Jules, Paul Oakenfold, Lisa Loud, Marshall Jefferson and Farley Jackmaster Funk to name but a few.

1993-1997 Resident DJ at Hot To Trot Mansfield

1999 Number 7 UK chart hit single as "The Boy Wunda" entitled "Everybody" which was on Mercury/Manifesto Records. This record also charted all across Europe and even reached number 1 in Australia. The track also reached the official Radio one club charts and eventually to a performance on Top of the Pops. This record sold a quarter of a million copies worldwide.

2000 Number 6 UK chart position for his remix of girl band Atomic Kitten and their hit "See Ya"

2002 Number one Radio one cool cuts chart position for his remix of "The Rhythm Masters" track "The Ghetto" under his name "Soul Glow" with fellow producer Andy Holder.

2003-2006 released 4 different Disco House 12" singles on the Soul Glow label and also signed to Soulful Solutions records releasing a funky house cover version of Kool and the gangs Summer Madness.

2009 Set up Cold Rockin Records and released over 30 tracks under his "Area Social" Moniker. This was mainly Retro House and Disco House tracks. He reached number 8 in the Juno-download sales charts for his album" Taking the Dissgo" and number 10 for his track "Houze Muziq"

2012 Remixed Earth Wind and Fire track "Brazilian Rhyme" under his "Area Social" Name this track was recently played by "Masters at Work" in their 2014 "Boiler Room" set.

2013 Released a self titled Chill out album entitled "The People we used to be" on the "Traxscape" Record label. Three of the tracks from this album were recently licensed to the legendary Ibiza label "Phonetic Recordings" and was featured on their 2014 Night and Day album series.

2014. Reinvented himself as "Robjamweb" and produced a track called "Bionic Love" This was signed by "Editorial Records" in Canada and sold very well reaching number 1 in the Juno Disco charts.

2014 The second single under Robjamweb came out on Editorial Records in October 2014 and reached number 2 in the sales charts.
He is also signed to the Master Works record label and was featured on a number one selling album in January 2015.
2015 Saw the release of more number one Disco Re-edits and then went on to release a 12" whute vinyl single with his awesome remake of Fonda Raes classic "Touch Me" entitled "You Know How"
2016 sees the release of yet more Disco and Funk re-edits alongside some new Deep House material coming out on the Midnight Riot side label "Black Riot Records".
