GARZIA

Born in the city of Panama, Panama. Garzia spent most of his youth (about 5 years) learning how to master the guitar. He was self-taught on playing the piano; followed the sounds of ska, punk rock, reggae roots, dub, and all sorts of other popular genres at the time. Never really paying attention to electronic music until the age of 16. and while his brother became a big influence for him to discover house music, he fell in love with the complexity of it and more underground genres like dub techno and minimal. By the age of 17 he is eager to sneak around into the most-known clubs of Panama City catching international DJs gigs and following the music of Producers/DJs like: Joris Voorn, Loco Dice, Funk Agenda, Marco Carola, Tiefshwarz and many others. By the time he turns 18 he learns to spin records and master the use of vinyls and CDJS, still being shy about facing an audience and without knowing where to go with this whole new passion he couldn't live without. At the age of 19 he moves to the city of Saint Louis in the United States of America to Major in International Business/ Music Business. At the same time, he decides to take a vast amount of music production courses. This, led him to become more accurate in the sound he was looking to discover. And also, in his ways of composing, producing and arranging music. He makes the effort to travel numerous amounts of weekends to the City of Chicago; where in 2013, met the sound of top DJs like tINI, Steve Bug, Guy Gerber, Seth Troxler, Dubfire, Steve Lawler and many others.

The summer of 2014 and 2015 were really good for Garzia. As he performed in known venues and parties in the city of Panama, where he had the chance to open the night for DJs like Miguel Puente, Rampa, Leo Perez, K.E.E.N.E duo and many other well known Panamanian and Central American artists/producers.

In 2016 Garzia started the year playing at the well known three-days festival in Panama City “The Day After” next to top Djs like: Lee Burridge, Magda, Patrick Topping, Caleb Calloway, Guy Gerber, Francesca Lombardo, where he delivered decks to Bob Moses. Played for top parties warming up for Djs like tINI and Daniel Sanchez.

Garzia is now 24 years of age and is looking sharper than ever with his producing and spinning skills. Wishing to allocate his home base somewhere in Europe in the near future. Expect to hear more from this productive/promising career as time goes by. x
