BONGANI BONGZIN MBATHA

From: South Africa
Genre:
Dance/Electronica, deep house, lounge, House

Bongani Bongzin Mbatha is the name I chose because it's my original name I chose from a lot of names that people gave to me so I decided to stay original and present myself originally. I was born in Diepkloof in (Soweto) during the 80's I started my first music experience when I was doing my last year of primary school which I started by collecting my first vinyl(record) and started my piano lessons as I am a fully qualified pianist now. After High school, I studied Sound Engineering at City Varsity Johannesburg in 2008.
My father Sphiwe Mbatha was a musician which I believe that music has been in my DNA from birth (may his soul RIP). I Started production and never released anything because I had yet to grow my skills and talent musically to be able to translate/communicate it well to the world, not just sounds of music, but something with meaning. I have now been featured in an album Called Smooth Agent Africa which is a compilation compiled by Sean Smith from Chicago and the name of the song is 'Soul Healer'. I started working with the likes of "Big Voice" Jack Lerole (Penny-whistle player) done remixes from artists such as Samantha Faison, Lele X and many more playing all kind of musical Genres and doing gigs around South Africa and other artists who have made a big difference in my life as far as musical growth is concerned. I'm now fully involved in productions and remixes with local and international artists in the House Music scene which anyone should look out for in the next coming months and there is No stopping from here Enjoy
