TISHA MONIQUE

Tisha Monique Martin was born an only child on nov 20th. She resided between Miami and her birth place of Jamaica until the tender age of six and then moving to the uk. Always having the urge to entertain whether it be acting, singing or posing for the cameras, she finally persuaded her mum to audition for the famous Sylvia Young Theatre School in London. She began her career, making her name on British television by landing the role of the character Missy Lewis in the CBBC Sitcom 'Kerching' 2003. As well as various other roles, including a lead at the Soho theatre which was in her own words. 'an amazing experience'.

Tisha's next role was in the remake of the original CBBC Sitcom 'The Basil Brush Show,' where she played the character of Ella the sassy next door neighbour in 2004. But having the talent and drive to also sing and model, Tisha pursued her dream and was the face of Tammy girl, Bliss, and Sugar magazine. She also found herself a member of popular former R & B girl group The 411. They were formed in late 2002, and their 1st single reached number 4 in the UK charts while the second climbed in at number 3.
