WIZARDS ON WAX

Wizards on Wax formed in 1997 off the back of David Stevens AKA Billy Stevens from Prime Attack. Prime Attack released a smash underground rave track in 1992 called How Many Ravers and Billy got his first taste in the music industry. This track was remixed by DJSS, a drum & bass and jungle legend which catapulted Prime Attack to release more tracks under the Vicious Vinyl label. Prime Attack still releases tracks under the drum and bass genre.

Wizards on Wax came about because Billy wanted an avenue to start releasing house music so a label called Earthworm Records was formed and the first hit was called Def Jam. A massive underground speed garage track that is still played on the club circuit today. Billy also released further tracks under the name The Nasty Boys, Trix, The Rhythm Purists and Gemini.

Now over the past 4 years Wizards on Wax are producing deep vocal house and funky house music to rock the dance floors again. Various releases under Disco Balls Recordings, Open House records and Poolside Recordings. Watch out for more amazing releases in the future.
