MSIZKAY

Msiz'kay, real name Sizalobuhle Nkomo, born 20 June 1989, is a Bulawayo based artist, producer, songwriter, and poet.

Msiz’kay is a pioneer of a style of music he describes as Something Afro, a blend of Hip Hop which fuses Hip Hop, R n B with various traditional African music elements to come up with a unique sound designed to appeal to people from all walks of life.

Msiz'kay is a 2017 Bulawayo Arts Awards Song of the Year nominee, 2017 Skyz Metro Fm Best Hip Hop Song nominee, a 2018 Bulawayo Arts Awards nominee for Outstanding Hip Hop Artist/Act. He is an award winning artist:
Best Metro Urban song in the 2018 Skyz Metro Fm music Awards;
Best Alternative Sound at the Zim Hip Hop Awards in 2019 as well as;
Best Male Artist at the 2019 Skyz Metro music awards.
Currently Msiz'kay is nominated for 3 awards in the 2020 Bulawayo Arts Awards for: Outstanding Male Artist; Outstanding Hip Hip Artist and Song of the Year with his latest single #NgawuzwUmoyaWami. Msiz’kay is nominated for Best Video, Best Collaboration and Song of the Year in the 2020 Zim Hip Hop awards.

Msiz’kay has a put out two albums, Bazovuma which came out in November 2017 and Bayashiselwa which came out in April 2019. His latest release is a single titled #NgawuzwUmoyaWami released 15 May 2020.

Msiz’kay recently collaborated on a dance release titled #Happy with Brazilian platinum recording producer Vintage Culture together with hit making producers Fancy Inc and Drunky Daniels, also Brazilian.
