DISTANT PEOPLE

Distant people is the production name of Joey Silvero who started djing in the early 90s.
Joey owned and ran a record shop in the midlands for 3 years and was hit with the house bug due to hearing the early releases from filtered, roule, crydamoure and subliminal records.
Joey played at various clubs such as Miss money penny's, Strawberry fields, Lost Weekend and others.
This in turn led to producing house music and In 2009 Joey created Just sing on Foliage records.
After this Distant People had projects on Tony's records, Purple, Sole Channel, Quantize, Soulstice, Makin Moves, Mercembe,Soulful evolution, Club Together and Vibe boutique.
Along side the house releases Joey teamed up with singer song written Tasita D'mour and Sister Pearl was created, a more afro house sound, this lead to releases on Tribe, Dafia, Quantize and Big Speaker.
Distant people continue to release house music and work with a wide range of artists.
