Dj Rip, a pioneer in the Hard House and Techno music scene. Known for his dynamic performances and innovative music productions, Dj Rip has left an indelible mark on the electronic music industry. Born and raised in Chicago, Dj Rip, also known as Xavier Jacome, began his journey in the late eighties. His passion for music led him to purchase his first turntables at the age of twelve, setting the stage for his future success.

Dj Rip's career took off after joining the UC family in 1998. He quickly became a favorite at major events worldwide, spinning at renowned venues like the Arena in Hollywood and at notorious raves such as Mayday (Germany), CyberKid (LA), Groove Attack (NYC), Lift (Tokyo), Thunder Rave (Italy). His talent was recognized on radio shows where he headlined Hard House spots, reaching millions of listeners. A local favorite amongst his peers, radio shows hosting Hard House would highlight him as a headliner! Rip appeared as a regular on B96 WBBM (The Street Flavor - CHICAGO), 88.1 WCRX, and Cyber Radio reaching over 2,000,000 listeners. Dj Rip's unique style and mixing techniques set trends, inspiring up-and-coming DJs and solidifying his place in the music scene.

Dj Rip's compilation, House Blend 5, was a major success, ranking as the third highest-selling CD in Strictly Hype Recordings history! His projects, like the "World Domination CD", the 4X Harder CD, and the Hard Wired CD showcased his impressive blending techniques and collaborations with other talented DJs. Transitioning from DJ to producer seamlessly, Dj Rip worked with notable artists like Dj Attack, Dj Trajic, Delta 9, and Dj Paul. His remixes, including the "Me Nenas Coast to Coast Semi Trailer Remix" and especially his remix of Dj Attack's world-famous "Buda" release, elevated Hard House music to new heights, earning him the "1999 UC Music Producer of the Year Award".

In 2009, Dj Rip took over Chicago's Direct Drive Digital record label, transforming it into a platform for emerging electronic dance music producers. At present, he also formed the House label, Butta Records, and a techno label Subset Records that is sure to hit new heights in the upcoming future!! His remixes for artists like The Beastie Boys, The Backstreet Boys, and Donna Blakely, gained global recognition, further cementing his influence.
