How special must be music to act neither boring nor exaggerated? Is there an approach to develop punchy sound yet bring the melody into prominence? The talented newcomer Ansgar Scheffold from Germany is committed to this sensitive balancing act for years now.

He had already laid the groundwork of his musical career at the age of six. Years of piano and drum lessons did the rest for him to open the gates to the world of jazz, funk, soul and film scores – styles which pervade his beloved records. His works don't fall into one category. They are characterized by catchy piano riffs, pushing bass lines and groovy dubbed vocals. Classic Deep House blends with technoid rhythms and over time numerous jazz and blues elements emerge.

In 2010 he stumbled on a sequencer for the first time. This was his entry into the universe of electronic music production. His releases reach several thousand listeners and have featured on online magazines and platforms. The latest EP „Only The Strongest Survive„ is out in October 2018 on Black Bouwie Records (Barcelona, Spain). In recent collaborations he worked together with artists like Pete Kaltenburg (Lapsus/Forest Walker), Nino Langguth (Zuckerton) and Radiothérapie (Neuzeit/Flauschig).

It seems that all things are possible with this fresh combination of creativity and ability.
