HEIDI MARTIN

A passionate and raw songstress, Vocalist and Composer Heidi Martin was born in DC. Could very possibly be why she sings with such soul. She makes each song her own. As a composer, her socially conscious compositions challenge the listener to hear with an introspective ear. She has performed with luminaries on the Jazz scene such as: Russell Gunn, Nicholas Payton, George Burton, Josh Evans, Gregoire Maret, Eric Revis to name a few...She has produced shows: Abbey! tribute in her own words for the socially conscious vocalist and composer Abbey Lincoln and "The Race Card" a documentary commissioned by Atlas Theater's Intersections Festival 2013. She is a new artist to the House scene collaborating with Producer Cee ElAssaad since her performing in Morocco in 2009.
