His interest in the dj's world began in the early 80's, while living in Bronx NY His future career in dance music was inspired.

Caught up in the House Music explosion of the mid and late eighties, discovered house music while hanging out with some of the older kids who DJ and dance to house music in his neighborhood. A Mecca for B boys, Djs, Graffiti, Hip Hop and a new New York sound and culture called "House".

In 1992 Lux Likuid move down south to Raleigh North Carolina, were he amaze the house music lovers there with His stylish sound, which draws from NY, Chi-town, UK and contains traces of West Coast influence, is class but innovative in its execution. Lux jacks the system with a blinding fusion of jackin' Chicago House, quirky Funky tracks,Seamless Scratching Technics and, of course lots and lots of the Hard stuff. It's the sound of Chicago's funked-up next generation filled with bangin' warehouse rhythms and cooled-out basement vibes practiced at endless raves.
