DJ ANGOLA

Jason Angola, also known as Jike, has many releases out on labels like Wonderwheel, Good For You, Lion1music, and Pulver. He has been asked to remix for labels like Wahwah 45s, CR2, and Nylon Trax as well as being remixed himself by artists like Jay Dee, Eli Escobar, Sam Young, & Quantic.

Jason lived for many years in New York City holding multi-year DJ residencies at APT, Marquee, and Bungalow 8 as well as a regular Friday night Brooklyn party with Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra. He also played often at London clubs like Boujis, Jazz Cafe, and The Box.

A multi-instrumentalist, Jason performed all of the various ones on tracks like "Lo lo lo". He has played bass in some notable post-punk bands as well. Now living in his home town of Austin, Tx, Jason is working on his debut LP. Expect more tracks out in the coming future for Jike as well.
