Si King aka Chemical Play has been involved in the underground Techno scene for quite some time now and releasing material under this guise since 2012 via imprints such as Bulletdodge, Frequenza, BluFin and of course his very own HIDE + SEEK imprint launched in early 2015.
His releases to date have garnered multiple airplay and DJ support from the likes of BBC Radio One (Essential Selection / Pete Tong Show), Ibiza Global Radio, Ibiza Sonica Radio, Richie Hawtin, Jamie Jones, Nicole Moudaber, Danny Tenaglia, Laurent Garnier, James Zabiela, M.A.N.D.Y, Marco Carola, John Digweed, Joris Voorn, Riva Starr, Maceo Plex and more. A striking indication of his relentless growth within the industry, as well as the classic meets contemporary appeal embodied in his output.
Recent HIDE + SEEK releases have seen him collaborate with artists from heavyweight labels Ovum, De-Konstrukt, Crosstown Rebels and VIVa. He was also commissioned for a remix on Bulletdoge record's much lauded 2017 album “The Brood Remixed”, joining a “who’s who” list of Techno artists including Juan Atkins, Carl Cox, Joey Beltram, Darren Emerson and Inxec to name a few.
He has also enjoyed many years as resident DJ and Live Act for home town Brighton’s most successful club brands (Moody Disco, De Puta Madre, Beatsworkin, Clinic etc). Seeing him booked alongside some of the biggest players in the industry (such as Seth Troxler, Nic Fanciulli, Maceo Plex, as well as underground legends including Geddes (Murmur), Adam Shelton (One Records) and Matt Tolfrey (Leftroom)).
