Housekeeping Records have unveiled the next release on their newly formed imprint - label owners and heads of the acclaimed Housekeeping event series Taylor McWilliams, Carl Waxberg, Sebastian MDH and Jacobi combine forces to deliver their 'One Eye' EP.
Building from the success of their 'Start With A Little' EP released last year, title track 'One Eye' unfurls into a blend of elusory vocal cuts and melodies. 'Streetsweeper' follows, with interwoven synth layers and filtered chordal stabs playing out under MLK'S inspiring 1967 Chicago speech. The collective then enlist Max Chapman for his interpretation, rounding off the release with a rolling, percussion heavy affair.
