This February, we are very excited to welcome the Italian selector, DJ Dep with his four track stomper, “Cricket EP”. Featuring two heavy originals, and remixes by Collective Machine & Ki Creighton and Makanan, this is a must-have for the tech-house aficionado.
Dep starts off with a groovy roller titled ‘Cricket’, packed with booming bass riffs, tribal percussion, and short yet tense breakdowns that drive the track forward. Stripping this track back with extended and suspenseful breakdowns, a warm groove, and punchy kicks is the masterful remix by Collective Machine. Both the original and remix are perfectly placed for transitions between warm-up to peak time sets.
Offering an alternative approach to ‘Cricket’ is a remix by Ki Creighton & Makanan, complimenting the original further with their signature infectious grooving style. This one is geared for getting the crowd moving throughout the night.
