Pole Position Recordings proudly presents Sable Blanc with his debut EP “Nuit Jazz”. An EP, as the title suggests, full of deep, warming, soulful, jazzy house. As Sable himself puts it “Nuit Jazz is a combination of poetry and energy, an EP full of contrast and colours, blending soul and punch.” A drummer of 12 years and long term jazz school student, it's obvious to see where he gets his inspiration.

Sable Blanc opens his EP in fine fashion with “Rose Cocktail”, a straight-up soulful, jazzy house number with a killer sax solo from saxophonist Wes Maples. Sable and Wes have been good friends for many years and it was important for Sable to get him involved on the EP. Sable's love for jazz and its improvisational freedom clearly shines through. Next up is “Finesse”, which goes a little deeper, a slightly more laid back house groove for the early hours. “Give Your Soul” ups the intensity right away, a peak time, dance floor number guaranteed to get the hips swinging! The EP is rounded off with “The Rooftop”, which drops a little deeper again with it's warming emotional chords but all importanly, still packs a punch!
