Barely a year old, Do Not Sleep is fast gaining a reputation for showcasing the type of quality house thats synonymous with the Ibiza party of the same name. The labels 7th release comes from Tommy Vercetti, a rising star already gaining support from a host of top names including Paco Osuna, Sidney Charles and Sante.

Blue Submarine EP is an example of Vercettis emerging talent and confirms why hes been receiving such high praise. The title track is a percussion-led soulful groove that ticks over nicely. It features a looped mantra, the voice repeating dedicated our lives to the sound, a message that sticks tightly to the ethos of Syrossian's A&R skills. Darius Syrossian himself is on remix duty, keeping the focus around the percussion elements but littering the track with his own subtle touches adding swooshing synths, spaced out effects and weighty kicks. Misch is a real tech house roller set off by lush drum pads, while Wheres Ya Flute has future Do Not Sleep anthem written all over it. Vercetti creates a carnival atmosphere awash with tribal drums, rising synths and a punchy bass-line groove that will get any dancefloor moving.

Tommy Vercetti's Do Not Sleep debut is more than a solid introduction, showing a musical maturity beyond his years and high hopes for the future. Believe the hype.
