Daniel Cuminale makes his Reload Black debut in grand fashion with the title-track coming down strong via the use of huge metallic chords and mighty stabs. The melody-laden “Dreamer” picks up from there and offers a dubbier approach and cavernous vibe, letting the grinding hats do the talking as haunting, looped-out vocals pierce the thick, midnight air. “Red Cheeks” stomps through the door with warped effects and riffs from a dismal future, reinforcing the cavernous vibe with mangled vocal snippets, while classy synths propel the affair to the next level! “Selling Out” seals the EP in the same vein, by gradually employing a subtle synth melody which evolves graciously and a spacious breakdown playing a major role in the impeccable arrangement.
