James has spawned a tasty collection of releases and edits on some of the worlds biggest labels and now joins the ever growing Sidetrak family with his latest offering of dance floor fodder
‘Can’t Wait’: a boogie filled floor-filler put James Silk on the electronic music map back in 2012. The track hit the heights of the Number 2 spot in the ever competitive Deep House Genre, as well as being played in world renowned clubs such as Watergate Berlin and on the worlds best radio stations.
Since that breakthrough track, James has kept to his golden rule of keeping his music fresh & full of groove. This method has seen his music be well received across the scene; with his releases reading like a who’s who of quality house music record labels: Sony Music, Defected, Toolroom, Get Physical, OFF Recordings & Exploited Records just to name a few.
His tracks have been played on every continent in the world by the likes of Sasha, Groove Armada, Tensnake & Laurent Garnier & his latest Jam 'Purely Mockba' receiving support from heavy hitters such as Joseph Capriati, Paco Osuna, Albert Marzinotto, Shiba San, Dj Simi, Kenny Brian, Dj Dep, Horse Meat Disco, Sergio Matina, Stacey Pullen to name a few
Residing in Liverpool, James has been plying his trade for over a decade. Playing for over 15 years, he is a well accomplished DJ as well as a respected producer. His DJ career has seen him play across the world from the likes of Berlin, Paris & Moscow to Sydney & Melbourne.
James continues to focus on releasing fresh & fun music and is also in charge of his own imprint ‘Heyo’.
