There latest offering "PERCEPTION" keeps their blissful union movin' forward, while showcasing the evolution of their artistry & collective talent. Throughout todays highly conscious global community 'perception' often times dictates how we view at each other, ourselves and society. This song looks at it as a living, breathing, life consuming entity, but its message is ultimately one of empowerment. "Perception" the song will make you think, but make no mistake about it, it's also designed to move the body as well as the soul.
Co-written by Evan & Solara, the package has two different mixes to suit varied styles. Groove Junkies & Reelsoul Rooted Vox is a soulful, afro tinged mix that hits the mark on all fronts. Solara's vibey, understated vocal sits perfectly on top of afro / soca beats and afro inspired bass & guitar. It also features additional keys from the one n' only Will 'Reelsoul' Rodriquez. GJs Soul Excursion Dub strips down the vocal, dubs it out and ultimately kicks things up a notch! ENJOY :-)

Choosing quality over quantity, Groove Junkies & Solara have always opted to let things happen organically and not put any undo pressure on the creative process. The co-owners of the respected MoreHouse Records (MoHo) imprint came out the box strong with the seminal hit "Deeper" which debuted @ #2 on the DJ Mag Hype Chart in 2003. The two scored again on Solara's second 'MoHo' release "Sunshine (Sol Brilliante)," this time capturing the #1 one slot on the DJ Mag Hype Chart! This led to her flawless vocal interpretation on Groove Junkies remix of Ben Watt's "Lone Cat," the first single on his Buzzin' Fly imprint.
Future collabos on the highly regarded Om Records ("Just Groovin," & "Paradise") and MoreHouse ("Life Is What You Make It," "Pulled Me Through") showcased the varied colors and shades of Solara's unique vocal prowess and enhanced their reputation within the global dance community.
GJs and Solara releases can boast staunch support from a veritable who's who list of internationally known DJ's such as the late great Frankie Knuckles, Louie Vega, Sandy Rivera, Tony Humphries, Miguel Migs, Marques Wyatt and many more.
