Marco da Mata ft. Paulo Oliveira and Bazil - Sortie P6
Happy Birthday to us!!! DeepStitched is turning 2 and by no means are we the terrible 2’s like they usually say. Quite the opposite. We plan on bringing to you a whole load of birthday month releases! We would like to kick off our birthday month with Marco da Mata ft. Paulo Oliveira and Bazil.
Sortie P6 (Original Mix) - What a track to start off with! This one is not the typical four-on-the-floor track you would come to expect from us, but it is a track full of talent, life and seriousness. Sortie P6 features a killer vocal by none other than Paulo Oliveira and a lovely saxophone lick from Bazil. This is a welcomed piece to our ever growing catalogue and we are sure you will find quite a few favourites from this massive 7 track remix package.
Sortie P6 (Kaesar Remix) - The Kaesar Remix brings with it a bit more drum work than the original and puts an interesting FX on the sax. Kaesar still keeps the original formula build of the original track which is nice and just gives an added element to it. It is a nice rendition that brings an interesting flavor to the original. We like it.
Sortie P6 (Silo Disko Remix) - How nice is this? Silo Disko has done an excellent job with his take on Sortie P6. Solid bass hums with full lush pads are the main focus here. No sax to be heard but that is ok! An excellent use of the main vocal is done well here with some solid drum work to boot.
Sortie P6 (Psycho Weasel Remix) - Right off the back we are introduced to the dominant piano from the original version with some heavily reverted claps and snare hits. Distant pads are added throughout the piece as well as other piano licks from the original. The bass line is chunky and helps drive the piece along very steadily. Throw in a dash of the vocals and we have ourselves a solid piece from Psycho Weasel.
Sortie P6 (Dirty Flav & Greg Puppa Remix) - This is a solid driving deep house version by the collaboration of Dirty Flav and Greg Puppa. The drum work is top notch here. The main vocals are sprinkled throughout the piece making it feel a little dubby. The bass line works well here and the constant flanged side stick in the background is almost used as a voice itself. Heat up the floor with this remix.
Sortie P6 (David Torr Remix) - Look out! David Torr’s remix is in your face from the get go. A nice heavy kick and gritty synth are the meat of this rendition. The main vocal is used throughout the piece. This is a great deep tech house offering for those looking at a harder version of the original.
Sortie P6 (Robie Rios Remix) - This is a dark piece of music here and we love it! Robie Rios does a stellar job of using the vocal track in this one. We love the sampling he has done by cutting it up, lopping it, reversing it and all around just giving it a unique spin you would never think of taking the original. The bass line is that of a heavily breathing monster under your bed. This version sounds like it came right out of the 6am clubs in Berlin and we are ok with that.
