Mexico based producer, TEDDY WONG, is a rising entity in the new House scene. With entries on Underground source, Nasty Funk records under his belt, his latest EP including, "BASS FACE / NONSENSE/ SHADOW RISE", is our next installation on ANALOG IMPRINT.
Born in Los Angeles, California and raised in the industrial city of Mexicali (Mexico), Edgar Velasco Wong aka Teddy Wong grew up exposed to a mix of different cultures and traditions, giving him the opportunity to experiment a unique approach to arts, specially music .
His music career began in the early 2000's being part of a punk band and playing in local venues. In 2006 he was introduced to house music and fell in love with it. After attending to a rave he decided to start his career as a DJ/Producer. He started a project called No Roux No which gave him the opportunity to share stage with great artist like, Desyn Masiello, Felix Da Housecat, Martin Eyer, Format B, Lee Foss, MSTRKRFT, Climbers, The Disco Villains, and many more.
In 2013 he decided to start his new project as Teddy Wong, a project where he can express himself through beats and basses, where his dreams can become a reality and where he can push the boundaries of his imagination. Currently based in the city of Los Angeles, California Teddy's sound is influenced by old school house vibes heavy drums and vocal samples, always in constant evolution, looking for new ways to express the language of the soul.
