2016 is a big year for Secret Cinema, alias of Jeroen Verheij. The techno producer has an impressive 25 years in the business under his belt. To mark this occasion SILVER will be released; a luxury box set with three exclusive new vinyls, a documentary, a USB stick with Verheij’s complete discography since 1991 and lots more. Additionally, nine Secret Cinema classics will be re-released digitally with brand new remixes.

Poolside is one of Verheij’s deepest most dreamy productions, inspired by an Ibiza poolside experience. The keys were played in one take and only lightly modified for release. Nuno Dos Santos takes the original and adds a raw edge and a driving groove. Petar Dundov is not only remixer but also the initiator of this EP. Originally released as the B-side of Rita & Lynn on EC Records in 2008, Poolside was never one of Secret Cinema’s biggest tracks. But it was Dundov’s favorite and we absolutely agree with him that this is a hidden gem. His remix is an ode to the original with a 2016 twist.
