Bologna based producer Persya is back at Bonzai Progressive with the superb three tracker entitled Heide EP. Persya debuted on BP back at the start of 2016 with Expecto which gained great support from many jocks with its wonderfully progressive grooves. This time out he fuses a tech house bead into his progressive sound with stunning results.
Heide dishes out a deep progressive vibe right from the outset as phat chunky beats are lined up against a cosmic FX, sharp claps and crispy hats. Melodic synths fade in and tease us with an impending euphoria that is enhanced by a fantastic bassline. The bassline carries the track along perfectly and you'll find yourself locked on to its melodic tones and strong probing nature. The break delivers the melody in all its glory with added vocals and rich strings to really build the vibe before the beats come back and carry us along for the ride once more. A monster progressive sound that will definitely turn a few heads.
Imago intros with a very cool percussion led sequence that builds into a solid and tight arrangement that gets the rhythm flowing nicely. A nice and big chunky kick drum takes over alongside shuffling hats that will definitely make you move your feet. The bassline delivers the goods here though, a solid, pulsing bass that oozes tech house will surely rock any floor to its foundations. A very familiar vocal one shot comes to the fore to bring back those retro memories and before you know it you're totally hooked on the vibe. Beautifully crafted sounds and perfectly executed arrangements will have this one at the top of any set, one to watch for sure.
Shanalot sets off with a punchy kick drum with a cool filtered synth that piques the interest right from the off. Cool percussions layer up bringing a tight rhythmic flow to the sound. A monster bassline makes its way into the groove and delivers a perfectly balanced low end sound that brings warmth and depth. As we are drawn deeper into the progressive abyss we are faced with surreal melodic sequences that mesmerize and captivate adding some beautiful textures to the sound. One for the late night sessions here, a must have.
