NYC born and bred House producer/DJ Rooster certainly has diversity on his side. Having worked his way up over the years, he's played alongside world-renowned superstar DJs like Roger Sanchez, Robbie Rivera, Axwell, Steve Angello, Hatiras, Louie Vega, Kenny Dope and Todd Terry. Pulling off a great set, when sharing the stage with such an elite cast of artists, brandishing their own unique musing of this thing we call dance music, is a feat few can perform well. DJ Rooster has also had releases on Robbie Rivera's Juicy Music, Todd Terry's InHouse, as well as legacy House labels Strictly Rhythm, Nervous, Azuli, Ultra and others. He now comes to Dopewax with a hot new debut track, "The Almighty," with its minimally invasive-yet-still-relatively-intense arrangement, analog-sounding percussion, chord jabs and high-holy preacher sample on his Old Skool Dopeness Mix.
