NYC Hip House impresario and Sole Channel Music founder Mr. V steps into the zone with some true jams on his debut WOLFMODE EP on Dopewax. Hitting us with 2 versions of the lead tune, "Riddims," the original version is a straight up 4/4 ez flowing deep house piece with an intermittent ragga-infused vocal sample. The bonus Organ Mix stays true to the original but culminates in a funky jazzy keyboard solo by pianist/composer Erik Deutsch. He gets even funkier and hous-ier on Lewolf; an instrumental that's sure to get the heads to the floor, and he's just getting started. "Daz Dope" picks up the pace with pure House sounds and deep slappin' beats those same heads will appreciate, with keys laid out once again by Erik Deutsch. Rounding out the EP with even more House-intensity is "Below Ground;" a gritty, groovy, chunky, zapped-out peak hour track crossing-over a number of boundaries. We're talking the essence of groove here, folks. A great soundtrack for those summer nights of howling at the moon, Mr. V brings an exceptional sense of journey on his WOLFMODE EP with bonafide extended versions for full effect.
