Let There Be House is proud to present Irish DJ and producer Gary Tuohy as he makes his debut release on the label with his latest production titled ‘Guys From The Block’.
Gary’s rise to production fame began in 2014 when his single ‘Nothing But Your Fool’ peaked at number 2 in the most downloaded tracks on Traxsource.com. What a huge achievement! From this Gary was then asked to remix House music legend, Roland Clark’s ‘I Get Deep’, a timeless classic in which Tuohy’s mix went on to create a massive buzz throughout the underground house music scene.
Back to the single release in question and ‘Guys From The Block’ strikes us as an instant future classic that features old school strings, vibing piano licks and a tip to the old school with a sneaky vocal taken from an interview with House music legend, Larry Levan. This will be an essential battle weapon for many DJ’s throughout the Summer and beyond.
Let There Be House started life as a weekly podcast and was launched by Glen Horsborough in 2013. Since then, Let There Be House has become a recognised company with 2016 seeing the launch of events, merchandise and as of April a record label. Producing and releasing music both from the Let There Be House team alongside an array of International talent, the label will carry on the Let There Be House ethos of bringing upfront and uplifting house music to the UK and the rest of the world.
