Black Sea EP
The debut EP from Ice Viper was made over a time span of two years, in which the EP took on many different forms and the selection of tracks changed constantly. Eventually when it came to the final selection, Julian knew that the tracks on this EP would make the cut.
The EP adopted the name Black Sea from a track by Drexciya. In his younger years Julian grew up on the sounds of this legendary Detroit producer, Prefuse 73 among others. His dads record collection contained a huge dose of nineties electronic music. His fascination for new and groundbreaking sounds grew from a very early age.
Black Sea has a strong consistency and showcases Ice Viper mature sounding tracks. On top of that the thrilling remix of Safe handle by Know V.A. makes for the perfect ending of the EP by taking the atmosphere of the track into their dimension.
