M.I.RAW's first brand new single of 2016 comes straight out of that serendipity melting pot we know & love in music. A chance connection turns into what we have here, Edinburgh meets Detroit/Los Angeles, via London.

Niall McDonald pka Blackboxx delivers a roller-coaster production which has an instant hard hitting crisp sound that fits straight into the synonymous beat master mold of UKG producers of past, present and future. 'Pieces' is atmospheric with throbbing basslines, a Blackboxx production which embodies the dark & intense Terry Dexter vocals / lyrics & takes us on a electronic journey that draws you straight into its vortex, and could be described as an experimental evolution of sound.

With its shift in tempo this is a hypnotic banger that could fit into all dance genres & change the mood on any occasion, a must play for Djs, that will do damage on the dance-floor, festivals, radio, & speakers!!!! Beware, you've been warned.

The remix comes courtesy a UK Garage Godfather, Norris 'Da Boss' Windross, whose brand new production rides a classic sound that every music, House / Garage obsessive across the world will fully admire, appreciate & respect. The 'Da Boss WAW' remix takes Terry Dexter's vocals in a different direction to the original, one which Djs can play around with in & out of the mix. This remix kicks of in accapella style, 4x4 beats and a gorgeous yet not over-stated throbbing bass. The mix dances along with a hypnotic melody for the first 3 minutes building up towards that club dub feel then turning the darker lyrics/vocals into hook after hook along with fresh 2016 sounds.

This remix is undoubtedly one for the connoisseurs and those who both loved that 1991-1995 era, and the underground sound of House/Garage today, it compliments & adds a valuable piece to the puzzle.
