The Catalan DJ Marc Marzenit is not a stranger to observing watchers of the Cocoon releases in such way that his track "Not Assigned", which has been released on John Digweed's Bedrock label, was one of the special highlights on Sven Väth's review of the 10th season in Ibiza. The classically educated musician, who lives about 140 km west of Barcelona, has left his unmistakable marks in the electronic music scene in Spain, not least with his Paradigma label that has been founded four years ago. "Maya Colors" is a paradigm for Marzenit's understanding of modern Techno. Compressed percussions, densified to the essence, and deep bass lines fill the room with a self-vibrating movement. A similar approach to this has also "Tulku", its LFO bass line massaging your abdomen for more than ten minutes before an oriental-like modulation loop is milling itself into your synapses. With its bone-dry bass drum, "Motor", on the other hand, opens a gate to a novel perspective for classic Dub Techno.
