Adesse Versions started out as a re-edit series, with humble ambitions of releasing a couple of white labels, nothing more, nothing less. It kept growing with both original productions and remixes appearing. It didn’t take long until tracks such as Pressured, Modal and Justified appeared on charts and the records found it’s way to such esteemed people as Derrick May, Larry Heard, Gilles Peterson and of course Mad Mats & Tooli. Since then it’s been an ongoing theme with Kevin Gormans music, yes that’s his real name. Always well received and played by many. Now Adesse is making his Local Talk debut with ”Wash My Soul EP”, three premium cuts of dance floor energy in the most delightful of ways. The Opener ”Wash My Soul” lavishes layer upon rich layer of sound driven by a punchy rhythm and shifting hi-hats. Flip over for ”The Light”, a straightforward chunk of jackin’ house and finally ”Thank U”, a feel-good dance floor cut that's sure to put smiles on faces whenever it’s played. There's no doubt Adesse has created an EP that manages to stitch together something that hits you hard and comforts you at the same time.
