Why do I have these lyrics in my head: "The heat is on, on the street / Inside your head, on every beat / And the beat's so loud, deep inside / The pressure's high, just to stay alive / Cause the heat is... boom, boom, boom, boom ...on"? Exactly, it is time for a new episode of BBQ Techno and it's pre-release "BT5", highlighting the four exclusive titles of the full compilation.

We have to say, that we are super proud of the BT5 selection. What a bunch of great tracks, celebrating the summer and outdoor dancing, all of them genuine open-air monsters.

For the first track, L.A.-based Jon Charnis, who has already released some amazing music on Innervisions, Supernature, All Day I Dream or NO19 Music, has teamed up with Lone Star State's Hands Free (My Fav Robot, Dilate). Their track "Leviathan" is a blueprint for the sound of 2015: Deep, melodic and story-telling.

Next up is "Visa V" by the Detroit/New York-based duo Ataxia from the Paxahau posse who have been signed by the Liaison Artist agency. "Visa V" is a unique piece of music with unusual melodies and twists. A beauty with rough edges.

Schlepp Geist from Rostock has a strong and organically developed fan-base in and around Berlin, who is currently conquering the rest of the republic and Europe. "Tura" is a rough and hypnotic charmer, with an old-school vibe. Working strongly on every floor.

The last but definitely not least track on this release, is the wonderful "The Space Between" by the duo Moosefly. This act is currently delivering bomb after bomb and we are more than happy to have them on board now. "The Space Between" has everything a tracks needs this summer. A perfectly crafted pearl.
