CASAMENA, also known as Carlos Mena, is a Puerto Rican native DJ and producer with a Brooklyn upbringing which, when added all together, realize his unique musical foundation in house, hip-hop and salsa music. With over thirty years of DJ experience across the genres of deep and soulful house, hip hop and Latin music, CASEMENA produces genre-fused music that has respect for traditional roots. It should come as no surprise that CASAMENA has teamed up with the OG’s of house music, Strictly Rhythm, to release his ‘Dance Mutha’ EP.

Dance Mutha is a club-forward track driven by its Afro-Cuban rhythm and contemporary urban vocal. CASAMENA elevates the carefree and intoxicating rhythm of the Afro-Cuban beat in his Beats & Bass Mix. Add in two Accapella versions of the track, and CASAMENA resurfaces the true purpose of dance music with the memorable lyric “feel the rhythm, feel the groove.”
