Canadian born, Berlin-based, DJ/producer Ed Ed follows his 2014 Defected release ‘I Got (Something You Need)’ by teaming up with vocalist Eric Mcbride for this EP on DFTD.

Ed Ed’s original is built around a smooth rolling bassline and Eric’s soulful, catchy vocals. The choppy and reverberating chords in David Keno’s remix rip smoothly over the track’s toe-tapping percussions making the remix a real stand out on the EP. The Sasse & Ed Ed Remix is a more drop-oriented composition than the original, with catchy 808 claps and articulated hi-hats ensuring it plays out perfectly as a club track. Finally, especially for the DJ’s, the Accapella and In My Soul Tool allow Eric McBride’s lyrics to shine, and add a reverberating vocal dimension to mixes and sets.
