A@r0Nz (aka Aaron Quist) returns from sonic hibernation with 2 infectious house offerings paired with a sublime remix from Deepen boss Vernon Douglas.
A mainstay in the Canadian underground scene ever since he first unknowingly stumbled into a dark and dank acid house party which he describes as “life changing”. Quist has never looked back, making a name for himself as a premier live act in the North American rave scene throughout the early 90s. With two TB303s, drum machines and racks of miscellaneous hardware Quist (performing under the moniker CHAMELEON) would command the dance floor never playing the same track twice.
Relocating to the West Coast in 1998 bringing with him his unique brand of bass n beats to Vancouver’s underground, Aaron Quist has found his niche amongst the likes of Jay Tripwire, Tyler Stadius and Deepen’s own Vernon Douglas to name a few, bringing his own unique mishmash of techno-deep house-garage and minimal sounds to the underground table. A master of his craft, Quist is back with a vengeance and plans to continue this momentum with a steady stream of releases planned for 2015!
