DJ S.K.T has put his own bassline-led house stamp on the 1991 True Faith classic rave tune of the same name, ‘Take Me Away’. The track, featuring prominent house DJ/artist Rae, has blown up in the current garage-influenced house club scene as one of the freshest, standout tracks of the year. Rising from the underground, DJ S.K.T’s trademark sound has received further support across the board from Radio 1/1xtra DJs such as Annie Mac, Pete Tong and DJ Target to producers like MK and Amine Edge. Set to catch the ear are a host of remixes arriving alongside the single, with Franky Rizardo, rising Glaswegian duo Illyus & Barrientos, Giani Bini and DnB veteran Andy C all reworking this future classic.

Rae’s vocals echo throughout the layers that make up Illyus & Barrientos piano-forward remix. The track plays out in a darker atmosphere but its bass hits heavily in a similar vibe to the original. The Franky Rizardo remix stays true to the original's drop-oriented composition but is carried out in deep-house style. Rae’s vocals chop between an energizing 808 and a sonorous bass horn. The alluring build up to the track's initial drop sets the tone for the entire track, one that is destined to be a club banger. Gianni Bini’s Rootsy Vocal Rework paints a different tone than the original, maintaining dance inducing qualities, the track grooves forward with a disco-house sunset vibe. Andy C, AKA the Executioner, is world renowned as one of the leading figures in the drum and bass scene. His remix is in tune with the original’s garage sounding influences and he further highlights Rae’s intoxicating vocals. Frenetic drum rhythms and a boisterous bassline create hype throughout, building up the track as one that will have utmost impact at club peak time.
