Joachim Pastor takes us on a trip up north with his latest Hungry Music release. Named after Iceland’s capital and largest city Reykjavik, the title track instantaneous teleports the listener to the land of fire and ice. Based on a precise kick drum, that’s backed by various rhythmic elements, the track starts morphing into a true musical adventure once the keys, pads and the growling bassline start doing their magic. Keep an ear out for the funky breaks near the end!

Now traveling eastward to the Mongolian city of Oulan Bator, where we get to taste the various Asian string, horn and percussion elements. Through it’s musical elements the Oulan Bator composition combines the feeling of melancholy with the spirit of optimism.
