"Hypnotease EP" encompasses each aspect of Tanguy Destable (Tepr)'s influences. After many years spent in studio, he was eager to blast his music in clubs again. To Chicago House beats, repetitive frenzy of Detroit Getthotech and pop gimmicks found in Tiga's or Rythmes Digitales' music, Tepr adds bizarre elements. Yet the producer/DJ remains always faithful to the dance-feeling and melody.

Some tracks of the EP have been created 5 years ago, but have remained in the state of demos. In the course of those last months, Tepr has performed many unfinished tracks in his DJ sets. He came to realize how consistent some of them were with one another. Therefore, he has been keen on finishing and shaping his 6-track EP, set to be released through Yuksek's Partyfine label. Tepr has put out his expertise, and has intuitively moved towards new musical coasts. However, his versatility has never been an hindrance; and indeed the final result blends every headbanger elements dear to Tepr.

Tepr adds some novelty in his production process, as he has sampled his own voice for the first time. Used as hypnotic loops in "Hypnotease" or for a funky headline in "Be My Date", his voice also haunts the tracks "Never Be The Same" or "You and Me".

"Hypnotease EP" is obviously dedicated to clubs. Yet, though the EP is rooted in Technoid elements, the 6 tracks drive the listeners on a journey thought by Tepr. The EP will guide you on your commuting-journey, during your chill-out moments at home or as you shake on the dance floor.
