Began producing Hip Hop in 2000 for local acts in Iowa and surrounding areas of the Midwest. DJ/Producer for rap group “Triple 9”. This led to being an Audio Engineer/Producer for Sid Wilson of Slipknot at his studio in Des Moines called “The Moon Base”, and the formation of the production group “The Trackstabbers”. After calling it quits at the Moon Base, A-Roc teamed back up with front man from the group Triple 9 “Chris Arctor”, to form the MC duo A-Roc and Arctor. They released two albums, “The Signal”, and “Surviving The Machine”, on the Columbus OH based record label “La Core Records”, both produced, recorded, mixed, and mastered by A-Roc. These albums are downloadable for free at “thesignal1.bandcamp.com”.
A-Roc left Des Moines in 2013 and is now residing and representing Richmond Virginia, continuing to furthering his career in hip hop as an MC and producer, and producing Disco House/House music tracks with his long time friend and fellow DJ/Producer DJ Rek on and for his label Disco Project Recordings.
