With its 35th release, Abstract Space Records heralds the return of Far Away From Cities by Montenegrin artist AudioStorm. Originally part of the Reconstruction Area EP released earlier this year, this melodic progressive track opens with an unbelievably deep pad sequence that evokes a rambling pilgrimage away from a distant, glittering metropolis that is seemingly nestled against a back drop of majestic, percussion topped bass kicks viewed from across a plain of of gently sweeping synthesizers. CJ Peeton also returns in this release to guide the listener ever deeper through the expanse of expertly crafted melodies progressing along a path of reverbed out voices in his melodic house remix that is driven by a powerful, rolling bass line. Continuing through our journey, Soulfinder brings his deep progressive sound to Abstract Space Records in a remix that opens into an ambient vista of pseudo stringed synths hemmed in by craggy kicks. Da Luka joins the label to close out the release in a trancier rework that highlights a beautifully warbled arpeggio seemingly glancing over its shoulder, back toward the original pad sequence before continuing on ever farther and farther away...
