Thank you for checking out the latest from Twirlspace Recordings. The 'Knowing Sunshine EP' is the label's 1st release of 2006.
The Twirlspace tradition continues with the title track, â??Knowing Sunshineâ??. This up-tempo jumper contains a wide variety of rich percussion and a distinctly Brazilian feel, which is punctuated by funky synth-melodies throughout. This oneâ??s a MUST have for the summer.
â??America Has Been Stolenâ?? is a throbbing stomper that churns ahead like a freight train. Electro Funk meets Deep House in this bumpinâ??, late-night floor-filler. A vicious sax solo tears through the latter stages. HEAT, babyâ?¦
â??Kesi Onwardâ?? is my personal farewell to a longtime family friend who is gone. This song is a beautiful expression drenched in sweet melodies and filled with warm acoustic instrumentation.
Finally, â??A Time To Scatter Stonesâ?? is a return to the original Twirlspace formula; HOT rolling percussion and a wicked, live bass line with lush, intricate melodies throughout. â??Stonesâ?? launches into a full-out disco romp, complete with a wild synth lead solo, walking Disco bass and sly cello stabs. Youâ??ve GOTTA get this one, too!
The â??Knowing Sunshine EPâ?? was written, produced, arranged, performed and mastered by John Crockett. Published by nefariousjohnsongs (BMI). Copyright 2006. For licensing, please contact John Crockett @ workingunderneath@yahoo.com
