Kid Sublime's Back in the Ballroom series, a homage to the first clubs appearing and dance music like Disco, R&B and House was played.

A tribute to "The Warehouse" from Chicago on "The Westloop" (hence "The Loop" on side B), where Frankie Knuckles (R.I.P.) used to DJ as a resident.

Beside the term "house" derived from that particular era, the first Volume of the "Back In The Ballroom" series is a record where Kid Sublime takes you back to the dance-floor.
