About Flying Circus
The Flying Circus concept was born, like all the great ideas, by accident. The aim?
To celebrate life with good people while enjoying great music. Simple. Flying Circus brings together the music loving family to climb the walls in primal elation, surrendering our bodies to pure auditory joy. It's primal and gritty and speaks to your soul with no glossy adjectives. In the true fashion of a travelling circus the touring party has amassed a cult like following, a tribe of music aficionados, jetsetters, sun-seekers, revellers and connoisseurs of good vibes. The parties' far flung organic locations, and dedication to keepin' it real speak in resonant bass and cattle bells to a primitive desire to immerse our ears in sound and let our bodies go.

As dance music picks up more and more worldwide notoriety, soulful enthusiasts seek an escape from the glitz and the glamour. Developed seven years ago by Audiofly at Miami WMC, with the aim of throwing a wicked party with their mates, Flying Circus is the house music rebuttal to the mainstream, where people from around the world can reconnect with their deep, party loving roots and dance the night away in equal company. The party's ethos is about unadulterated goodness (in all its many forms); aesthetically pleasing, no bullshit and accompanied by that distinct Flying Circus sound and attitude, stripping away the excess showmanship and replacing it with cool.

It started, as most good things do, accidentally...An opportunity to throw a classic event popped up, which in turn gave us the opportunity invite all our friends (who we don't get to see because we are all going round the world in different directions mostly), to play together...to be inspired by each other and to just get a little "hang time". And that is why the parties are so well received wherever we do one, (and we don't do too many!!). Cause when we hang together...the mood is amplified...because we are all happier...just a liiiiiitle bit more than normal. So though this is obviously planned and organised by us and our amazing team (cause we always wanted to work in an environment like this, under circumstances like this) ,the reason why it works is simply because groups have more fun.....I mean, look at Scooby Doo, The Stones, The Police, The Teletubbies.... they had a blast, right??!!!
On top of that, we generally seek the more spectacular, opulent and nature-touched locations to hold our events....once again adding to the overall vibration. And that , boys and girls , is essentially it!! The more we enjoy, the more you enjoy, and then we enjoy it some more....then ping pong back to you again.....for as long as it lasts...

BLOND:ISH got their kick-start into the music world after they claimed the World Air Guitar Championship title in Montreal in 2008. Since then it's been a whirlwind of gigs, music releases and a never ending mission to spread love and expand
consciousness through music. As members of the notorious Kompakt and Get Physical families along with a slew of other labels, Anstascia and Vivie-Ann have carved out a niche thanks to their dark, sensual club music, sultry DJ sets and
outrageous, fun-loving attitude.

In the beginning there was no plan, just a chance meeting at WMC in 2007 which resulted in a cosmic bond between two house music loving visionaries and the conception of one of Montreal's midweek mangles at Cherry nightclub. Their work as promoters and DJs at the party, which was called 'BLOND:ISH', started a natural chain of events and it was only a matter of time before they decided it was time to transmit the hedonistic spirit of their debauched soiree to the rest of planet Earth.

In 2010 they packed up and shipped out of Canada to soak up all the energy and inspiration London had to offer. The influential city provided the perfect location for their musical endeavours. Stardust manifested itself in several key moments of pure magic over the following years; from an old friend connecting them to the Kompakt family and their first release with the seminal label, to M.A.N.D.Y's Philipp opening a spine-tingling set in the wonder of the Mexican jungle with 'In My Head' and welcoming them into the Get Physical crew.

A slew of original productions and gigs all over the world helped to reinforce their undying love for music and demonstrated that, where words fail, BLOND:ISH's music speaks. One of their ultimate experiences taking place at Burning Man where for the last 4 years, they could truly embrace their hippie spirit and share their ideologies
with like minded people. Remixes for several high-profile artists showcased their ability to put a sly electronic BLOND:ISH spin on a myriad of styles. Electronic music legends Depeche Mode among the many recipients of their unique talents.

BLOND:ISH are now poised to embark on the next step of their mission.
